DHI has in collaboration with hse consult (Denmark) and Ökopol (Germany) developed an E-learning course on the new European Regulation REACH, which entered into force on June 1st 2007. Many companies are affected by REACH. However, not all actors are aware of this and of the obligations they have under REACH.
The E-learning course addresses both industries and relevant authorities, which all will be affected by REACH and with the primary focus on health, safety, sales and purchase employees.
Funding of the E-learning course was initiated by the Danish EPA, and the project group has co-funded the development. The German UBA (Umweltbundesamt) has financed the evaluation of a prototype version, and the translation into German.
Both English and German versions are now available. The Danish EPA funds a Danish translation of the E-learning course, which will be launched September this year.
